Does the unit require venting outside my building?
If low VOC, no.
When spraying with waterborne paints and clearcoats, the spray booth’s filter will absorb all the aerosols.
If high VOC, yes.
When spraying with solvent base paints and lacquers, a mix of 5-10% of shop air is needed to help dilute to concentration of VOC’s in the recirculating airstream. This requires 5-10% of the recirculating air to be discharged outside via a 10” round duct.
OSHA, NFPA, AND EPA standards?
Yes. The Ventless™ booth is designed to comply with OSHA, NFPA AND EPA standards. VOC detector is used to monitor air quality inside the booth for a safe spray operation.
AQMD California compliant?
Yes. Please see here for our approval: AQMD
What is the normal ceiling height?
A 7 foot high booth is between 9 and 11 feet.
What is the floor footprint?
Booths are 30” more the depth and 4” more than booth width.
What is the power supply?
Single or three phase.
What is the cost to replace the activated carbon?
About $10 per foot of booth width. Please ask your sales representative for the usage time of activated carbon, as it depends on booth size and usage.
It takes less than 20 minutes to replace an average booth’s activated carbon filters.
What is the air curtain?
Downdraft dynamic air curtain repels static shop air (potentially with dust) and prevents it from entering the booth. Hence our claim to dust free spray operation.
